Today, nearly 450 acres in the cool hills of
Kualapu'u produce Hawaii's newest Arabica
coffee.
 
At 800 feet above sea level, the plantation
enjoys abundant sunshine, moderate
tropical weather and volcanic soil that is an
intense red, well drained and mineral rich. In
addition, a large reservoir serves to
moderate the temperature and humidity as
well as provide water for drip irrigation.
